For parents, it could be so frustrating really, when their toddler, out of nowhere seemingly, bites someone else. One might wonder, what prompts biting behaviors in children this age.

Toddlers of nursery schools in Dubai may bite because they are teething and when they want relief from that pain. Infants and toddlers bite can signal their desire to explore their surroundings through the use of the mouth. Biting behavior in kids may also be an indication of a sense of frustration and/or loss of control in them.

• Give your kid things that they can chew, such as carrot sticks.
• Read books with your child about biting.
• Teach your child sharing techniques, like using kitchen timer in order t o help your kid know just how long that specific toy is his/hers.
